HOW TO BREW
Step 1: Preheat the Teaware
- Boil pure water.
- Pour the boiling water into the gaiwan or teapot to warm and clean it.
Step 2: Add Tea Leaves
- Add 5 grams of tea leaves to the gaiwan or teapot.
- Use a tea-to-water ratio of approximately 5:120, but adjust based on your preference.
Step 3: Brewing
- Slowly pour 95°C (203°F) water into the gaiwan or teapot.
- Start with a small amount of water to allow the leaves to unfurl, then add the remaining water.
- Cover the pot and steep for 3-5 seconds for the first 1-6 infusions. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent infusions (7-10).
DESCRIPTION
